Delete your account
Last updated October 28, 2026
You can delete your Sheevook account yourself, in the app or on the website, and it takes effect at once. If you cannot sign in, you can ask us to do it. Either way the account and its data are deleted for good; we cannot bring them back.
Delete it yourself
- Sign in, then open Settings. If you no longer belong to a workspace, this page shows the same form once you are signed in.
- Scroll to Delete account at the bottom of the page.
- Enter your current password (if your account has one) and type your username.
- Press Delete account, then confirm in the box that opens.
The same steps work in the Android app and in a browser. You are signed out as soon as the deletion finishes. If a step fails because our payment provider or our text-messaging provider does not answer, none of your projects or data are deleted and the page tells you to try again. Text messaging may already be shut down on some of your projects by then, and your subscription is cancelled only once every project's texting is closed.
What is deleted
If you own the workspace (you set it up, or you signed up on your own), deleting your account deletes the workspace with it:
- Your login, and the sign-in sessions and API keys you made.
- Every project in the workspace and all that it holds: content, schedules, campaigns, ads, analytics, images, videos and uploaded files, the messages and reviews read from connected accounts, mailing and text-message lists, shared calendars, report and survey links, and the access tokens of every connected platform.
- Any connection Claude has to the workspace, and any text-messaging number set up through Sheevook, which is closed.
- Your subscription, which is cancelled immediately so that you are not billed again.
The other people in the workspace keep their own logins. They lose access to the workspace, and their sessions end.
If you are a member of someone else's workspace, only your own login is deleted: your seat, your sign-in sessions, your API keys and your Claude connections. The work you did stays with the workspace, because it belongs to the workspace's owner.
If you sign in with Computing America ID, or your account was made by an organization or another application, that account is created and removed by them, and deleting it here would not last. Ask your organization's administrator to remove your Sheevook access, or write to us and we will pass the request on.
What is kept, and for how long
- Billing records at Stripe. Stripe, which processes our payments, keeps its own record of your customer details, invoices and payments for as long as the law requires it to. We do not hold your card details, and deleting your account does not delete Stripe's records.
- Generated text kept so the same request is not paid for twice: up to 30 days, then it expires.
- Abuse counters: IP addresses for about an hour. Stripe event identifiers: 14 days.
- Backups. Our database host keeps short-lived backups, measured in days. Deleted data leaves them on the host's schedule, and a backup is never restored into a live account to bring a deleted one back.
- Posts already published. A post that went out on a social platform stays there, because it lives on that platform. Deleting your account does not remove Sheevook from the platform's own connected-apps settings, so remove it there too.
The rest of what we store, and the legal bases for it, is on the Privacy Policy.
If you cannot sign in
Write to privacy@sheevook.com from the email address on the account, or tell us the username. We may ask you to confirm that the account is yours before we delete it. We delete it within 30 days of the request, and tell you when it is done. If you own a workspace, say so, because deleting it deletes the workspace for the whole team.
